On December 17th 2002, Mansour Manufacturing & Distribution (MMD) was granted the prestigious EuroMarket Award by the European Marketing Research Center (EMRC) in recognition of its innovative business practices, commitment to quality and excellence, and the important role it plays in strengthening trade ties between Europe and the Middle East .

Seclam factory has been accredited the HACCP and ISO 9000 system in respect of the food safety and quality management. Seclam is currently applying for ISO 14000.

Produce, pack, and distribute dairy products (pasteurized milk, Rayeb fermented milk, Yoppa drinkable yogurt (Labanita), triangle and block processed cheese, white and feta cheese, and yogurt) and fruit juice (YES!).

Award given to Mansour by the First Lady

For the awareness campaign, MMD has been recognized by the First lady as the only private sector company in Egypt working in the field of education, and the only private sector company that took the initiative to launch a national campaign to fight illiteracy in the country. This will definitely encourage other private sector companies to take the same path in the future. For the first time in Egypt, such a partnership has been established which has helped in breaking the barrier of trust between the government and the private sector.

Metro Market Trading & Distribution

Metro chain has received the International Quality Golden Award for excellence, for the second time. The award was presented to Mohanad Adly, MMD’s Retails Managing Director (Metro & Kheir Zaman), at a ceremony that was held in London in September, 2007.

The Quality Golden Award is known to be one of the world's most prestigious awards, as numerous international corporations and foundations apply for the award every year. However, the award is granted at very strict measurements and standards that only one Egyptian corporation, other than Metro, had won it even though the awarding organization has been working internationally since the mid 70s of the past century.

The true value of this award stems not only from being an international award that is subject to strict technical and practical quality standards, but that it tends to observe the in-depth ability of a company to apply such quality standards, achieving maximum client satisfaction with their performance as well as products.

The award comes at a time, when Metro has achieved steady turnover growth, on one hand, and remarkable branch expansions reaching 31 branches in seven different governorates, on the other.
