Building on the achievements of 2023, we expanded the program in 2024 to an additional 300 students in Sohag, bringing the total reach in the governorate to 600 students. In 2025, our partnership extended to El-Minya Governorate, where we supported 420 students in public primary schools, further amplifying the program’s impact. To date, the initiative has reached 1,504 students and trained over 60 teachers, reinforcing sustainable progress in education.

The program spans 4 to 6 months, comprising 100 sessions—50 dedicated to literacy skills and 50 to numeracy skills. In 2023, we extended this support to 300 students in Sohag Governorate.

In addition to student-focused interventions, we conducted a specialized training course for Arabic language teachers on the “Guideline for the Development of Reading, Writing, and Math Skills.” This training equipped educators with the necessary tools to implement the program successfully while also enhancing their long-term teaching methodologies.

Since 2004, the hospital has been established with contributions from a group of donors, and the current value of the association’s investments now exceeds 600 million pounds, represented in equipment and facilities on an area of 8,400 square meters at the entrance to the city of Alexandria, serving all governorates.

The hospital has treated approximately 68,839 cancer cases since its establishment, with the help of thirty university professors and oncology consultants who provide medical supervision free of charge to those who are financially unable to pay. The NGO has also established the Department of Internal Reservation and Palliative Treatment, consisting of 45 beds and 5 intensive care beds for patients, and allocating 20 of them for palliative treatment, for advanced cases that other hospitals refuse to receive.

Among the hospital’s departments is the chemotherapy department, which receives 100 patients daily for chemotherapy sessions. The hospital also conducted 54,983 radiotherapy sessions in 2021 for about 2,647 patients. During the same year, the laboratory conducted 197,188 analyses, and the number of patients visiting the laboratory was 38,370. The Social Research Department conducted 2,576 new social studies during the year 2021/2020.

Given the achievements made by the hospital and the NGO, Youssef Mansour has pledged to provide substantial support to the NGO over the next five years. The Mansour Group calls on all businessmen and institutions interested in supporting social and health issues to provide contributions to expand the scope of work to include the treatment of the largest possible number of oncology patients nationwide.

The project aims to enhance the hospital’s efficiency to serve more patients. The turnkey IT system includes advanced software and devices that will enable the hospital to manage patient data, streamline operations, and improve communication among healthcare providers. The IT system will also allow for more efficient use of hospital resources, reducing waiting times and improving the overall patient experience.

The collaboration between Al Mansour Holding and the IT Company has been instrumental in providing the Cairo University Student Hospital with the necessary technology to enhance its efficiency. The turnkey IT system will enable the hospital to provide quality care to its patients, and ultimately help to improve the overall healthcare system in Egypt.

The project will enable the hospital to streamline its operations, manage patient data, and ultimately serve more patients in need. The partnership is an example of the positive impact that can be achieved through collaboration and investment in healthcare infrastructure.

Through the cooperation between Misr El Kheir and Al Mansour Holding, the Abu Greid community school has been completely renovated. The school now offers 88 students access to primary education, which is a crucial step towards building a better future for the local community.

The renovation project includes upgrading the school’s infrastructure, including classrooms, bathrooms, and the playground, to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for the students. The project also included the provision of new furniture, books, and teaching aids to support the students’ education and improve their learning outcomes.

Al Mansour Holding’s support for the renovation of Abu Greid Community School demonstrates its commitment to investing in the future of local communities by providing access to quality education. The “Read” program is aimed at improving the educational level of students in all subjects and preparing them to benefit from various learning resources. The initiative began with a 5-day training course for Arabic language teachers on the “Guideline for the Development of Reading and Writing Skills,” which included a set of practical applications to provide the participating teachers with the necessary skills to implement the program with the children.

A pretest was conducted with over 184 students in Tahya Misr Schools in the Al-Asmarat district to identify their levels of writing and reading skills. One hundred and three students between the ages of 10 to 12 were selected to join the 4-month course, which included over 21 sessions with no more than 25 students per session. The average improvement in the children’s writing and reading skills was 154% from their pre-and post-tests. The program ended in February 2022, and the children successfully passed the course and were honored with prizes and gifts. The participating teachers were also recognized and given certificates of appreciation for their role in the success of the program.

Due to the success of the program, The Mansour Company and Kheir Wa Baraka NGO have decided to scale up the project to benefit another 300 children, with 150 in the Al-Asmarat district and another 150 in the Aswan governorate. The program will continue to improve the educational level of primary students and provide them with the necessary skills to succeed in their academic and personal lives.

In conclusion, the partnership between Kheir Wa Baraka NGO and The Mansour Company has been a great success, with the “Read” program providing better education for primary students in the Al-Asmarat neighborhood. The program has shown significant improvements in the reading and writing skills of the participating students and has resulted in a plan to scale up the project to benefit more children. With the support of Youssef Mansour, Co-Chairman of the Mansour Group of Companies, a number of civil society organizations, and some public figures, hospitals in Qasr Al-Aini witnessed, on Wednesday, March 4th, the opening of the Laparoscopic Virtual Simulation Laboratory, and the acquisition of skills in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, which is the first unit of Its kind for virtual simulation, and learning skills in Egypt and the Middle East, especially the skills of laparoscopic and uterine surgeries, before performing actual surgeries, according to the system in force in developed countries.

The laboratory provides advanced training in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy as it includes the latest surgical simulation devices with a 3D vision with a 360-degree angle, and it also includes special programs to learn myomectomy, hysterectomy and laparoscopic surgeries safely.

In addition to these specialties, there will be other programs for training surgeons of various specialties, such as young doctors, from the Department of Urology and the Department of General Surgery, without any additional costs for doctors or the university, thanks to the advanced equipment that this laboratory includes.

Within the framework of his keen interest in the group’s social responsibility, Youssef Mansour continued implementing the efforts of Metro Market for Trade and Distribution – one of the Mansour Group companies – to contribute to the establishment of the center and the purchase of two laparoscopes in this laboratory. Lab & Simulation from the German company’s agent in Egypt, and handing it over to the hospital administration, and a delegation from the group from the departments of Corporate Affairs and Medical Care visited the unit in its experimental stages, and inspected the work of the aforementioned devices on the ground and the extent of their contribution to the development of the hospital’s medical system.
