The Mansour Manufacturing & Distribution Group (MMD) was established in 1992, building on the Mansour Group’s industrial expertise dating back to 1975. The Mansour Group is one of the largest family-owned businesses in the Middle East, with a workforce of over 60,000 employees, all of whom we consider part of our extended family. We have a presence in more than 100 countries and total annual revenues exceeding US$7.5 billion.
MMD distributes renowned tobacco brands from Imperial Tobacco Group alongside its own brands, and is the exclusive Egyptian distributor for leading international brands including Red Bull, L’Oréal, Ferrero, Marico, Fine, BIC and Dabur. It also produces its own-label dairy, water, tuna and frozen vegetables.
Metro, Kheir Zaman and Fresh Food Market together form Egypt’s largest food retail operation, with 229 outlets across 21 governorates, while 23 distribution centres covering more than 70,000 m² supply over 150,000 outlets nationwide: Egypt’s most far-reaching distribution network.
