The Mansour Manufacturing & Distribution Group (MMD) was established in 1992, building upon the Mansour Group’s longstanding industrial expertise that dates back to 1975. With a workforce of over 60,000 employees, MMD prides itself on treating every team member as part of an extended family. The company has achieved significant growth, with consolidated annual revenues reaching 7.5 billion U.S. dollars.

MMD offers a diverse product portfolio, distributing renowned tobacco brands from Imperial Tobacco Group alongside its own private-label brands. The company also serves as the exclusive Egyptian distributor for several leading international brands, including Redbull, L’Oreal, Ferrero, Marico, Fine, BIC lighters, and Dabur, among others. Beyond distribution, MMD produces its own-label products in categories such as dairy, water, tuna, and frozen vegetables.

The acquisition of Seclam marked MMD’s entry into the dairy industry, where it processes and distributes high-quality dairy products under the Belhana and Labanita brands. Additionally, the company established the Hayat-Siwa Bottling plant, producing pure drinking water under the Hayat brand. MMD further expanded into retail with the launch of the Metro supermarket chain, which quickly became known for exceptional service and customer satisfaction nationwide.

Building on Metro’s success, MMD introduced the Kheir Zaman chain in 2006, offering a wide selection of affordable food products. In 2014, the company inaugurated Fresh Food Market, a premium supermarket featuring high-end ingredients and products sourced globally. Today, Fresh Food Market, Metro, and Kheir Zaman form Egypt’s largest food retail operation, with a combined network of 250 outlets spanning 21 governorates.

MMD’s extensive distribution network includes 23 centers across Egypt, covering over 70,000 square meters. This infrastructure enables the company to supply a vast range of consumer goods to more than 150,000 outlets nationwide, solidifying its position as Egypt’s most far-reaching distribution network.
