AL-MANSOUR FOR TRADING & DISTRIBUTION COMPANY
Al Mansour for Trading & Distribution (AMTDC) was established in 1993 with a mission to deliver high-quality brands to Egyptian consumers. In 1995, we launched our own brand, SUNSHINE, specializing in canned fish products such as tuna, sardines, and mackerel. Over the years, we expanded our portfolio with additional brands, including Xpress, Mario, and Blanco, to serve diverse consumer segments. Today, Al Mansour is Egypt's leading tuna distributor and is expanding its footprint across Africa.
Our growth has been driven by strategic partnerships across food and non-food categories:
- 2004 — Partnered with Bonjorno, a local coffee brand later acquired by Nestlé. Bonjorno remains the market leader in sachet coffee today.
- 2008 — Partnered with Red Bull, introducing the energy drink to Egypt, where it now holds an 85% market share.
- 2010 — Entered the non-food sector through a distribution agreement with L'Oréal, the world's largest cosmetics company. This opened the door to a broader personal care portfolio, including leading Indian brands Marico, Dabur, Vini, and Cybel.
- 2017 — Became the exclusive distributor for Ferrero, the renowned Italian chocolate and confectionery brand.
- 2019 — Entered frozen meat trading, which grew into a full B2B commodities division by 2024, covering meat, coffee beans, and other essential goods.
- 2021 — Deepened our personal care presence with Dabur Egypt, a global herbal care leader, distributing products such as Amla Hair Oil and Vatika Shampoo. Our partnership with Marico, which operates a manufacturing facility in Egypt, has further strengthened our position in hair and skincare.
- 2024 — Launched the Mansour Logistics Division, a dedicated freight forwarding entity to strengthen supply chain efficiency.
- 2025 — Entered into the Consumer Electronics sector through partnerships with global leaders: Kieslect -one of the top ten global smartwatch brands-, and Baseus a premium electronics and mobile accessories brand designed with a strong focus on the end-user experience.
- 2026 — Entered the vehicle aftermarket through our collaboration with Keter Company, owner of the Chinese brand “Greentrac” tires which relies on advanced German technology, and strengthened our portfolio further by adding BP Castrol Lubricants.
Our distribution network is a cornerstone of our success, reaching over 150,000 retailers nationwide, including more than 200 supermarkets and 1,500 wholesalers.
These strategic expansions reflect our commitment to growth, innovation, and delivering value to our partners and customers. At AMTDC, our success rests on three pillars: our partners, our people, and our infrastructure. We remain dedicated to excellence while upholding our core values and guiding principles.
