In 2026, we continued our successful partnership with the Egyptian Clothing Bank as part of MMD’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and sustainability. Through this initiative, we aim to encourage a culture of donation, promote the reuse of clothing, and support communities in need.
The initiative was first introduced as a pilot during Ramadan 2022, receiving a highly positive response from employees. Since then, it has continued as an ongoing employee engagement initiative, providing employees with a convenient and meaningful way to contribute throughout the year.
Clothing donation boxes are available at the company’s headquarters in Cairo and Alexandria, allowing employees to donate unwanted clothing at any time. Collected items are then handled by the Egyptian Clothing Bank, which collects, sorts, and distributes clothing to people in need across Egypt.
Beyond supporting communities, the initiative encourages employees to adopt more sustainable and responsible practices by giving unwanted clothing a second life instead of sending it to waste.
Through this ongoing partnership, MMD continues to promote social solidarity, environmental responsibility, and employee participation, demonstrating how small individual actions can contribute to meaningful and lasting impact.
